Social Security Administration

NC DOR Online Payment System
If you are filing an Individual Income Tax Return and you owe additional tax, you can pay the balance due on Form D-400V using the Department’s online filing and payment system. 

Pay Federal Taxes by Debit or Credit Card
You can pay by internet, phone, or mobile device whether you e-file, paper file or are responding to a bill or notice. It's safe and secure – the IRS uses standard service providers and business/commercial card networks, and your information is used solely to process your payment. 

 NC DHHS – ePASS
ePASS is a quick and easy way for individuals and families to learn about and apply for available benefits and services. Online applications are available for Food and Nutrition Services(formerly Food Stamps) as well as Medical Assistance(Medicaid and NC Health Choice or CHIP). You can learn if you are potentially eligible for Medical Assistance by completing an electronic pre-assessment screening

Health Insurance Marketplace for Individuals:
If you live in North Carolina, you’ll use HealthCare.gov to apply and enroll in health coverage. Enroll by the 15th for coverage that starts as soon as the 1st of the month. Need more info first? 

IRS Direct Pay
Use this secure service to pay your individual tax bill or estimated tax payment directly from your checking or savings account at no cost to you. You’ll receive instant confirmation that your payment has been submitted. Just follow the easy steps below. Bank account information is not retained in IRS systems after payments are made.


Note: You must have a valid Social Security Number (SSN) to use this application. This application cannot accommodate Individual Taxpayer Identification Numbers (ITINs).
